As Anthony said, it looks like a version of Troy. That particular spelling of Troy was used on Star Trek: The Next Generation. It was Deanna Troi's last name. :-p~ Arcadia

I'd love to know where it comes from and the meaning. My mothers name is Theadosia and I'd love to know the meaning for that as well.

Troi, looks to be a varition of Troy using the French Roi (king) as the basis for the change from y to i.
