Today BtN is moving to a new server. Ideally you won't notice a thing, but if you find something broken please let me know.

I don’t know if this is only me, but the threads I’ve read don’t stay red after I leave the message board.

Do you mean the visited threads aren't colored as if you've visited them? Possibly this is because the site recently began using https (as opposed to http). Using the site with http still works, but your browser might not recognize the links you view while under one protocol as being visited when you use the other protocol. I would suggest that you ensure all your bookmarks point to https://www.behindthename.com (with the "s").
In any case, this is not an issue with the server -- it's your browser that is responsible for keeping track of which links you've visited and coloring them appropriately.

I think that there is a little problem.
When we write names with symbols (Hélène, Gaëlle, Synnøve) they don't create the link despite the autorization (and they are normal database names).
