Re: Jodhi
in reply to a message by Katie
Johdi looks like a different spelling for:
Jodi, Jodee, jodene, Jodey, Jody, Jodie, and Jodine
which are American names meaning Praised.
The spiritual connotation is humble.
There is a Bible verse that goes well with the name.
1 Chronicles 16:25 "For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods.

Persteph . . .This board is for etymological facts only. Spiritual connotations and so-called "matching" Bible verses are matters of opinion and are largely invented by the person suggesting them.People come to this site looking for facts, and it is not acceptable for you to present these made-up ideas to them as facts when they are clearly not. You may still share these ideas as long as you first make it clear that they are invented connections rather than etymological facts. If you don't change your manner of expressing your "spiritual connotation" and "Bible verse" opinions, I will ask one of the moderators to consider whether your posts constitute spam and should be deleted.
