Alright the lead singer of AFI (Davey Havok's) real name is "david Marchand" Hes very secretive but apparently from everything I found its 100% correct as the name "marchand" is even blurred out when said in the bands forum. dunno if that helps. Im guessing its either french or italian based on the sound and just looking at him. Someone help me out please.

I personally have a family name that is close to that

Marchant and it's French (and a very old family name that hasn't been used in generations since my greatx5 Grams married) and means "merchant"... We pro. mar-shahn... Marchand looks incredibly similar and I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a different spelling of the same name.

Also, if you could give me the proununciation of the name I'd like that.. and if for some crazy reason you knew the meaning.
