Meaning of the name Isidora
I'm really not sure about the meaning of Isidora. I've heard "gift of Isis" and "gifted with many ideas". But If Isidora does mean "gift of Isis" and Isis means throne, could it mean "gift of the throne"? I really don't know.

Can you explain the etymology for 'gifted with many ideas'? And where you found it? I suppose 'gift' and 'gifted' could be close enough, if necessary, but how the letters can mean 'many ideas' is not clear to me.

I can't explain it, I saw one of the Isidore comments in Meaning/History say that it also meant gifted with many ideas, and Isidore is the male version of Isidora.

No doubt whoever posted that comment didn't explain it either! Referencing really is so important that we need to be very cautious when people don't do it.
