In parisian French it's typical to drop the 'l', but in Quebequois Camille is pronounced [cah-MEAL-'uh].The 'uh is almost silent, but just kind of comes about because of the ending of the l. When I lived in northern Ontario I never met a Lucille, but I would assume it's the same.
