What’s her ethnicity? Is she white, Hispanic, something else? That helps to narrow down possibilities.

Oh, sorry-- she and her family are white. When googling I did come across others who've had the name, the oldest I found was late 1800s. Not sure of their ethnicity.

1800s? Then I guess Larecia isn’t a modern name. I don’t have a clue about its origins, though - maybe it’s related to Laura?
