Aslan is a variation of Arslan. These are both Turkish names meaning "lion", so it was a very appropriate name for the character. :)The above information, by the way, is from a Turkish name book I own, Adlarimiz by Aydil Erol, though I believe you could probably have also found reference to this on many sites dealing with Narnia.

Is there anywhere you would suggest to get some info where i can print it out for her?
