Its a masculine, Italian name.

My guess is that it would be the masculine version of Carmina.
But I thought I'd ask so if anyone can comfirm my thoery it would be helpful.

Variant of Carmine, masculine of Carmina.

So basically, Italian masculine form of Carmel.
