Well, I am basically just interested in the meaning of my name, Rika. The gender is female and unfortunately I am not sure about the origin. I know that the homophone of ‘rika’ in Russian (unfortunately I’m also not certain about the spelling in Russian) means river…I do not know if this will help.

I guess your name is the short form of Frederike/-a, which -like Frederik- means 'peaceful ruler' - nice, isn't it!
