Minea is a Frisian extended form of Mine, which is a short form of names ending in -mine like e.g. Wilhelmine, Hermine, Tomine, Benjamine, Rasmine etc.
The -ea ending is to be found in many other Frisian names as well, e.g. Fraukea, Rikea, Talkea, Neelkea, Talea etc.
