Chrisell isn't my real name. It's an internet screen name made up from a contraction of my first and middle names: Christine Ellen. I invented it back in the days when computers required 8-letter usernames!Thanks for the compliment though :-) I believe that Chrisell has been invented by a couple of other people as well and used as a real first name, mostly back in the 1920s.

I was at school with a Christelle. That was her official given name, long before home computers; it was a merger based on Christina and Helene. Since she was Elizabeth Christelle Margaret on the forms, it is understandable that her parents preferred three names to four ... all of 'em family names!
