Well, after doing a little research I've found the name Tavon, but not Taven.
Tavon is an African American name meaning nature.
I have also came across Alverna, which is feminine for Alvin and means wise friend.

Hmm, I don't think so. Don't trust the pages with "Baby Names" and such, because they are mostly false. This is one of few reliable pages.
In what language does "Tavon" mean "nature"? African-American isn't a language. I would guess Tavon is a variant of Davon, which may be a variant of David. Alvin means "elf friend", not wise friend and the feminine form is Alva. Alverina sounds more Spanish to me.
