It was surprising to see that Nissan was not recognized and linked to the database entry. It's a pretty common jewish name. It is the name of a month in the jewish calendar. Passover occurs in Nissan and the name signifies freedom.
The name probably originates in cannanite paganism like other months in the jewish calendar.
