I heard this is a male Native American name. Anybody know any more information about it?

If you click on the "search" link at the top of the board, you can search for previous threads where names have been discussed.
Adriel has been discussed a few times, and this is probably the best explanation:

It is a Hebrew name; I would not for one minute give any credence to the idea that it's a Native American name, unless the site you found that on gives the specific language that it came from. A great many baby name sites allocate "Native American" as an origin to names they can't figure out.
