According to a U.S. Dept. of Immigration publication I have titled: "Foreign Versions, Variations, and Diminutives of English Names", the name "Pavlo" is both a Russian and a Ukrainian version of the name "Paul".

Strictly Ukrainian versions are:
Pavlo
Pavlyus

Russian versions are:
Pavel
Pasha
Pashka
Patulya
Pavlik
Pavlusha
Pavlushka
Pavlyuk
Pusha
Pavlo
Pavlyus
Pawl
