As Chrisell mentioned, "array" is a word, and not a word generally used as a name. If you found the name via this site, though, I suspect it's mostly my fault. ;) In which case, that's technically not the origin of Array. It's a combination of my first and middle names. I'm an Amy Rae, which turned into A-Rae and eventually Array over a period of several years.

I'm not sure if I'd advocate it as a real name or not, but I must admit that I do have a certain fondness for the moniker. :)
