I forgot one passage: Read 1. Kings 18,37 and 39! When the English translation says: "The Lord is God", in Hebrew it is: "Yahwe hu haElohim." So here again you have the "hu" (he), but instead of "El" you find the plural form "Elohim". But then again there is no crucial difference between the two, so the whole story is full of "Eliyahu".
