If it's pronounced like the name it's from initially I think the 'ne' is slightly silent so :

"Ev-ahh-d-nnn" like the 'n' is slurred with the d and the 'e' is pretty much gone. hmmm like "Evv-ahh-dunnn" but the break from d to n is really slurry.
