Selwyn...
I think "The Name Helper" needs a name helper... ;)-- Nanaea
Not a special "Name Helper", myself -- just a board member with an interest in name etymology, like everyone else here.

*nods*You are right.
I was however just trying to say something nice.
I may have failed there though.

I figure it this way...No, Selwyn , I don't think you failed at saying something nice. :) I think people here have, for the past couple of months, been nice to ***JEN ***. Practically everyone responded to her "Awsome" [sic] Name Quiz back in April -- and ***JEN *** ignored everyone's responses. So, it was a waste of everyone's time, as people soon realized. It doesn't really seem to make much difference whether you're nice to ***JEN ***, or not-so-nice.She doesn't really respond to anything "nice" you post back to her, and all she mainly seems to be interested in is just seeing her name ***JEN *** show up here on this board all the time, for whatever fathomless gratification that might give her.If she was really sincere about wanting to be a "name helper", she would at least make an effort to respond to people's postings here requesting help. But I'm pretty sure that's not really what ***JEN *** is interested in at all.I think what ***JEN *** really wants is attention. So, we're all obliging her today with LOTS of attention! :)-- Nanaea

OKay, here I go. After our little tiff, I apoligized and explained my actions only to be completely snubbed. All I was asking for is a response. Apparently she doesn't respond to anything, not even her self. Here's a little tip for you, ***JEN ***, if you want people to respond to you ever again in a positive way, RESPOND BACK when offering favors.Sarahjeanne

"My mother used to say , 'you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar.'"*My* mother used to say (and still does): "You can catch even MORE flies with a shovelful of... " Well, you get the picture. ;)Hey, cool pic of you, Phyllis ! I hope I picked you out of the crowd right -- are you the one in the "Meán rang 2" pic, dressed in white with the shoulder-length, red hair? She was the only sleevless gal I could find in all those pics, so I'm guessing that one is you. :)-- Nanaea

Once again. no responses! I tried using my honey, but it didn't work the first time, so I went straight for the shovel. Still no responses. Hmmm...so unlike her.Sarahjeanne

As they say in the Gaelic speaking parts of Ireland, "Ta". Strange, I'm a definite brunette, but I came out online as a redhead, perhaps auburn *sigh*. Oh well... *shrug*.Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Well Sarah jeanne just informed me of this conversation and I felt left out so yeah I had also been nice to ***JEN *** when she first came here and then she snubbed off both me and SJ. Ok I had my 2 cents added......LOL
