names like Nia, Lux, Maeve, Montserrat & Myla seem modern to me, but not trendy.

what are some examples of modern names? trendy or not.

I think this would be better on Opinions . . .

. . . since the distinction between modern names and other names is very subjective and will be purely a matter of opinion.

i like the name it makes me think of someone, who is more out there and not afraid and independant and strong but also kinda funny and good to be around
