Loarn (Scottish) meaning
I know the modern version is Lorne.Loarn dates back to about the 6th century, a tribal/ clan name i believe, but what is the meaning?

Well, if Lorne is the modern form of Loarn then logically they would have the same meaning; and since Lorne's meaning is unknown (lost somewhere back in time), then it follows that Loarn's meaning is also lost.
