Does anyone know where the name Monta (F) comes from or what it means? The only thing that I've been able to find out is that it's derivative of Monty (M). Surely there must be more about it somewhere! Please help! Thanks so much...

Monta derived from Monty which derived from Montague a surname meaning Pointed Mountain. Montgomery derived from Montague as well which has the meaning of Gomerics Mountain. But yes Monta means Pointed Mountain and derived from the surname and its usage is English. :)
