Nausicaa (the common spelling) was a princess who found Odysseus stranded in her country. However, it does not literally mean "princess who found Odysseus."Nausicaa has been discussed at this archived thread: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=265962&board=gen.I am guessing her name is derived from ancient Greek. She is described as a Phaeacian, from the mythological island of Phaeacia (Scherie or Phaiakia), but presumably the home of greek-speakers
