This name has been bugging me for a while. I would think it'd be pronounced "DEE-trah" or "DYE-trah" or "DAY-trah" Help me out?

If it is a contraction of Demetria, as they say on thinkbabynames.com (http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search.php?s=deitra&g=0&t=1), it'd be DEE-tra too. That'd be consistent with Keitra as well, which I've heard pronounced KEE-tra.

I didn't even think of connecting Demetria with it! That's interesting. And I've never heard of Keitra. Thank you!

Since Deirdre is normally pronounced "DEER-dree" in English, I would assume that Deitra is normally pronounced "DEE-trah".
