The name field is for your name not the name you are asking about.
In Sanskrit, the word ashva, cognate with Latin equus, is said to be derived from the root ash meaning to reach, gain, master, offer, enjoy, pervade, penetrate, or accumulate, and means a horse. Ashva and the feiminine AshvI means related to that, usually an equestrian.
