Aftan unveiledHere's a shot at "Aftan":
According to one source, Aftan (or Aeftan) is Old English for "behind, from behind" (Daividh, please no wisecracks about ancient Greek connotations :P)
According to another source, Aftan means "the sun" in Hindu. If I were you, I'd stick to this interpretation :)Lets attempt an analysis of your name by virtue of the infallible Anagram Oracle.
*Aftan Leigh* yields:
- *Fat healing* : This implies you are sestined to become a successful dietitian. You would greet you patients by exlaiming:
- *Hi, fat angel!* to boost their morale and then perscribe a regimen of:
- *Half eating*. You are superb at motivating your patients because you are a :
-*Faith angel*. Of course this does not suffice; for ultimate success you must convince your patients to wage...
- *A lean fight* for the rest of their lives...

Hi Aftan,Mama got it almost right. On "Dallas" the name was spelled "Afton" and the character was a real babe! Altho there are several towns named "Afton" in the US, I think the name comes originally from the River Afton, a small stream in Ayrshire in western Scotland. Robert Burns brought it to notice in his song, "Flow Gently, Sweet Afton". Sorry I don't know the original meaning.P.S. I believe "afton" also means "afternoon" or "evening" in Swedish, but I'm not certain (which or either).
