Shani
Has anyone heard of Shani? It's Welsh and feminine - or so I assume since it belonged to a character of "How Green was my Valley"

My name is Shani.. it has verious meanings depending on what culture you are from... Hindu it is a name of a demi god so has referals to that.. in Hebrew it means "a marvel, wondrous" in Swahili it means - marvalous. there are many more meanings to it in different cultures... although it is not a very commonly used name.

Shani, in the context of Welsh names, is an Anglicised spelling of the Welsh name Siani. Click the Siani link for more info.
