Cool new book: *The Penguin Classic Baby Name Book*
This recently published book was recommended to me by Zelda, and it contains "2,000 names from the world's great literature".469 pages in length and written by Grace Hamlin (a pseudonym for the author of several best-selling baby name books), the book is divided into a section for boys' names and one for girls' names. In addition to giving name meanings and background on characters' names from literature and mythology, there is an index which lists authors in alphabetical order, followed by their most famous works in alphabetical order, under which are lists of characters' names from these works. The book is extremely informative, including authors' invented names as well, such as Victor Hugo's "Eponine" (*Les Miserables*) and Anthony Trollope's "Glencora" (from his *Pallisers* series). This book is a must for your personal library. The book retails for $11.20 if you purchase it through amazon.comhttp://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/103-6535649-8347846-- Nanaea
