Being your fiend Cuban, it is most probable that her name is a combination of Jane and Lis (short form of Elisabeth) or plain made up. Latin American people are well known for using made-up, combined or creative names, adapted from whatever language to Spanish. It may be because of the diverse influence of other cultures they get, but who knows....
