Exer is probably a variation of the Old Testament name Achsah. In a rural Southern accent, the first vowel could easily change to "eh" and the -ah ending could become "er", just as words like "banana" and "Rebecca" sometimes become "bananer" and "Rebecker" in those accents.This message was edited by the author on February 15, 2007 at 8:54:31 PM
