As written about by Terry Pratchett ... and as usual his names are wonderful and, er, convincing without necessarily being authentic.
As all fellow addicts will know, the Feegle are Pictsies, 15cm in height and painted blue; they pride themselves on their skill at fighting, thieving, overindulging and getting into whatever trouble may present itself.
And we're about to get a puppy, and my daughter (She Who Must Be Obeyed) is determined to name this innocent beast Feegle. Just for interest, therefore: does anyone have any idea where the name might have come from? Even the great TP can't be expected to make stuff up from scratch every time - and it does sound convincingly Scottish in a kind of a way.
The puppy is a West Highland White Terrier, btw. Hoots, mon.
