I'm doing a project in my world history class and I need to know more about my ancestors and my last name. I need to know were my last name originated from and what it means and what type of things my ancestors did.

Further, if your ancestry is Scottish the modern Gaelic spelling is "Caimbéul." If your ancestry is Irish the modern Gaelic spelling is "Caimbéal."
Regarding your middle-name, Anthony is correct.
Regarding your given-name, I am guessing, but I think it relates to a 'drum' as the words 'tambour' and 'tambourine.' Your parents would have better knowledge of this than anyone else, since they either found or invented the name.
