I have been trying to track down the ture origin of my name, if that is even possible. My name is Sonceree, pronounced sahn-se-ray. My grandmother was Apache and she chose this name for me. According to what I have been told the name is Apache and means "morning star". The only confirmation I have ever had of this was from the movie classic 'Broken Arrow, whe Sonceree was the dughter of Cochise. If anyone can confirm any of the information please do.
