Hi, I am not very good with name meanings and origins. I figured alot of you probably are! I am looking for names that I might like that would honor the following people in my life...
Female- Anne, Morgan, Anna, Marissa, Alexis, Elizabeth
Male- David, Neal, George
So basically what I am looking for is names that have the same meaning, or virtually, as some of my family names, and some divarations (sp?)

Go to Behind the Name's home page (http://www.behindthename.com) and search for the names you want in the search box. All the names you requested are already in the database.
Also, on the left-hand side of the home page, under Tools, you'll find a Name Translation tool that'll translate any name in the database to international and spelling variants, diminutives and pet forms, male and female forms, and other such criteria.
