Archives"MIRVAT": What does it mean?
Hi,
I'm trying to find out the meaning of my girlfriend's name, "Mirvat". It's probably of Arabic, possibly Persian, origin... and that's about as far as we can get! It's been something of a lifetime quest for her so if anybody knows do please tell!

A google search yielded nothing, even though http://www.xrefer.com/entry/565799, Mirvat is currently one of teh most poular Arabic names.
One suggestion: Email Mirvat of http://www-personal.umd.umich.edu/~mhachem/ who might help you (ahem!) unveil the meaning of her name.
