Hi! A website for the actress, Aitana Sanchez-Gijon, indicated that she was named for the Aitana Sierra, a mountain range in Alicante (a province in Valencia, Spain). I didn't find much info on the meaning , though--maybe someone else here has some insight.
As far as pronunciation goes, I'm pretty sure it's "eye-TAH-nah".
