I recently found the name "Kyas" for a boy on the internet, I just can't find the meaning or the ethnic background of it. Can some one help me.

Swedish, not sweetish...This represents a prime example of why people who fall in love with a particular name should check it out before tagging it on a baby.A quick 'net search revealed that "Kyas" is the first word found in a Swedish phrase of profanity apparently meaning "eat", as in "Eat (expletive commonly used in place of feces)."http://www.netsurf.com/nsd/v03/nsd.03.09.html#SS2-- Nanaea
