Hi Zyda,
There is a small Sea around Holland called the Zyder Zee. I've always loved the sound of that so I used the name Zyder on my names site. Zyda could be the feminine form of Zyder and it could be Germanic.

Assuming, of course, that Zyda is a "she", or even of European stock.
