Wil, Bekah, Danny, Annie, Josh, and Ryan, please welcome your new additions :)
Saga Birgit and Vendela Carin are 9 year old twins from Sweden. They speak mainly Swedish, along with some Danish and Norwegian, but they also know quite a bit of English as their father was from the US. Saga and Vendela's parents were killed a little over a year ago in a car accident and the twins have been in foster homes since.
Saga is the older of the two by twelve minutes and she plays the part of older sister no matter how small the difference. She is a very take-charge kind of girl and is quite independent. Though Saga is quite outgoing and does well meeting new people, she often bottles up her emotions and has still not fully grieved her parents death. She is very active and loves being outdoors. Her favorite sport is soccer, but she is up for anything and always loves learning how to play something new.
Vendela is the quieter one of the twins and tends to be much more reserved than her sister, especially so since the passing of their parents. She is very smart, excelling in her schoolwork and coming out at the top of her class most of the time. Like Saga, she enjoys being outside and doing some physical activity, but if given the choice she would much rather curl up with a good book or do a puzzle; this is mostly due to the fact that she has asthma and a bad ankle that she injured a few years ago which still gives her trouble sometimes.
The girls are both anxious to meet their new family and settle into their new lives.
