Year 1
While they were dating, Siobhan and Conall talked about wanting to adopt a child someday. Conall and his siblings were all adopted, and he had always wished to adopt children into his own future family. They immediately filed for adoption after their wedding, since the process is often lengthy. However, they were quickly placed with a three-year-old girl from China! Jin was orphaned before her first birthday. Siobhan and Conall were thrilled to bring her home! Jin has straight black hair and brown eyes.
Year 2
The Tierneys traveled to South Africa. Conall helped cover a major news story, and Siobhan and Jin came with him to make a vacation out of it.
Year 3
Siobhan and Conall decided to adopt again, since their experience with Jin had gone so well! This time, they were placed with an infant from Russia, a girl just eight months old. Raisa Yuliana has curly blond hair and brown eyes. Jin began to like having a little sister!
Year 4
The Tierney family adopted a dog, which Conall named Rudy.
Year 5
Siobhan and Conall decided to move to a new house, which is closer to the school where Siobhan teaches. The yard is also larger for the kids and the dog to enjoy.
Year 6
Siobhan's hours at the school were cut. Instead of teaching kindergarten all day, she now only works half-days. She can spend more time now with Jin and Raisa, but she also is keeping an eye out for another job with full-time employment.
Year 7
Another adoption for the Tierney family! Siobhan, Conall, Jin, and Raisa welcomed a five-year-old boy from Guatemala into their home. Josué Matías has curly brown hair and brown eyes.
Year 8
Jin wanted to try raising a farm animal, so Siobhan and Conall got her a goat for her birthday. She named the goat Jewel.
Year 9
Siobhan didn't expect to get pregnant, especially after adopting three children, but the family was excited to have another addition! Finley Ronan has curly red hair and hazel eyes.
Year 10
Conall and Siobhan celebrated their ten-year anniversary by taking a vacation to Costa Rica! Conall's parents were kind enough to keep Jin, Raisa, Josué, and Finley during the vacation.
Year 11
Conall got a promotion at work! Instead of reporting from on-site news, he will be anchoring the 5 o'clock news!
Year 12
Siobhan and Conall did some minor repairs and additions to their home. Now all of the children have their own rooms.
Year 13
Conall and Siobhan wanted the children to learn the value of helping people firsthand, so they signed the whole family up to volunteer at a local food pantry. The kids really enjoy it, especially Jin and Raisa.
Year 14
Josué got a turtle for his birthday. He named it Eddy.
Year 15
Siobhan found out that she was pregnant for a second time, this time with twin girls! Kiera Bridget and Eileen Isabel have straight red hair and blue eyes.
Year 16
Siobhan became pregnant again, and another daughter was born just over a year after the twins. Aoife Caitlin has curly brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 17
The Tierneys went to the awards ceremony for a group of Irish newscasters. Conall's show was nominated for a couple of awards, and the family enjoyed the time spent in Dublin.
Year 18
Siobhan and Conall were contacted by the adoption agency that placed them with Jin, Raisa, and Josué. An eleven-year-old boy from India was in need of a family. The first family that wanted to adopt him experienced some sudden financial troubles and could not go through with the adoption. Kavi Harish was really disappointed and still wanted to find a home. Siobhan and Conall decided to open their homes again to another child. Kavi became fast friends with Finley!
Year 19
After adopting Kavi, Siobhan and Conall assumed that they were done adding to their family, until Siobhan found out again that she was pregnant! Because of her age, she was worried about the health of the baby, but their new daughter was perfectly healthy! Talulla Maureen has curly red hair and blue eyes.
Year 20
Siobhan has decided to go back to school to earn a graduate degree in child psychology.
