Year 1: Owain and Sif meet when Owain is injured falling from a set piece onstage. Sif is assigned as his nurse. He finds her interesting, and sweet, and she quite likes his almost violently red hair. As soon as he is well again, they begin dating. Six months later, they’re engaged, and four months after that they get married. They’re living in Owain’s apartment in downtown Wellington.
Year 2 (Job- transfer-move. Random- volunteer.): Sif is transferred to a hospital in Auckland, which means the both have to pack up and move to the North part of the island. Sif is happy with her job, but Owain is struggling to find one. While looking, he decides to take a part-time job. In his free time, he begins work on a script. After hearing about a local children’s theater program that needs volunteers to paint the set and prepare costumes, Owain decides to give it a try. He spends several days trying to convince Sif to accompany him, and she finally relents. The spend a weekend at the little theatre, and later go see the show.
Year 3 (Travel. Random- pet.): Owain and Sif take a vacation to Hovd, Mongolia for a week. The couple have a fun time, Owain’s favorite thing is the theater, while Sif loved seeing the cave paintings. (http://wikitravel.org/en/Hovd) However, both are happy to back home when the week is over. The couple decide to get a pet, and adopt a siamese kitten. They name her Ora.
Year 4 (Random- vacation. Adoption.): Sif and Owain take another vacation, this time to Japan. Both enjoy their time, but Sif says that she enjoyed Mongolia better, and Owain agrees. After talking the idea over, they decide to adopt. After much searching, the adopt four boys from Guatemala. The are 9 months old, and their birthday is January 9th. They have straight black hair and black eyes. Their names are Prudencio Aldofito, Fermín Efraín, Wilfredo Rodolfito, and Rodrigo Manu. They decide not to keep their birth surname, Gomez. Two of the boys, Prudencio and Wilfredo, earn nicknames, Denny and Wil respectively.
Year 5 (Birth. Family Event- pet.): In February, on the 17th, to be exact, Sif gives birth to a baby girl. She is perfectly healthy, and has wavy red hair like her father’s, as well as beautiful blue eyes. They’ve named her Sheryl Candice, and Owain calls her Candy. The boys are excited about their little sister, and Rodrigo especially loves her. Owain surprises everybody by coming home one day with a bright green parrot. Sif names the animal Balder, partially because of the bald patch on top of its head.
