Year 1: Lyra achieves her lifetime's dream of opening her own business. With the help of Damian, she opens a small antiques and junk store she names Delfina's.
Year 2: Delfina's is booming, and Lyra hands the store over for a week to a trusted friend. She takes a business trip in a truck, collecting cast off pieces of furniture and jewelry to bring back to the store to fix.
Year 3: Damian and Lyra have been in the process of adopting a child for some time. This year, they bring their child home. Rosalie Jane is a three year old girl from China, with straight black hair and brown eyes.
Year 4: In a truly bizarre turn of events, Lyra discovers she is pregnant, but not with just one baby. At the first scan, four babies are identified. Lyra is immediately confined to bedrest to maximise the chance of keeping all four children. After a long, long pregnancy, Lyra gives birth to four children - two girls, two boys. The two girls are identical and have wavy brown hair and green eyes. One boy has green eyes and straight blond hair, and the other has straight blond hair and brown eyes. They are named Petra Ophelia, Ramona Cecily, Elisha Duncan and Amedee Kurtis.
Year 5: Damian's father passes away. His family is devastated, and Damian finds himself struggling to meet the demands of his mother and siblings, as well as those of his own children.
Year 6: Not long after Damian's family is rocked by a death, Lyra's family suffers too. Her mother dies after a short illness, and her family rallies together to support one another.
Year 7: At this point, with Rosalie, Petra, Ramona, Elisha and Amedee all crammed into Lyra and Damian's small home, something has to be done. With a little money saved, and a little inherited, the family moves into a bigger house that they can properly grow into.
Year 8: Much to the couple's apprehension, Lyra is pregnant again. After many long discussions, the two decide to keep the pregnancy, reasoning that they had both enjoyed growing up in big families, and one more baby couldn't hurt. Willow Hester is born with straight blond hair, and eyes that would eventually turn hazel.
Year 9: Damian and Lyra add to their family again, unable to turn down the opportunity to adopt another little girl from China. Magdalena Heather is two years old, and has black hair and brown eyes.
Year 10: Damian is offered a new job, still as a chef, but in a more upscale restaurant, with a pay rise. He accepts immediately. Rosalie develops an interest in cooking and restaurants, and Damian is more than happy to teach her.
Year 11: Lyra is pregnant again. This time, with twins. After being repeatedly reassured that there are only two babies, she proceeds with the pregnancy somewhat nervously. Two girls are born. Jonquil Nuala, who has wavy black hair and green eyes, and Liora June who has straight black hair and brown eyes.
Year 12: Another baby is born. One boy, with straight brown hair and brown eyes. He is named Micah Francis.
Year 14: With Lyra's blessing, Damian quits his job to open his own restaurant. It's going to be hard work, especially with such a big family, but the family are enthusiastic about it.
Year 15: Lyra's great aunt passes away, and leaves her a large inheritance. The money is greatly appreciated, some being tucked away for a rainy day, and some being spent to take the children out for the day.
