Edmée and Jonathan were married a few years ago, and, realizing that they weren’t getting any younger, decided to start trying to have children. This year, Edmée finally gave birth to their first child, a son. They gave him a first name that is currently in the top 50 in the US, and a word middle name. Edmée discovered that Drake Forest meant forest of dragons, and decided that would be an amazingly cool last name. She doesn’t want it to be hyphenated.

Léonie and Javed became parents two years ago to twin girls. The twins have Urdu first names, and elaborated French middle names.

Briar and Akemi adopted for the last time last year, and they feel their new daughter completes their family perfectly. Since she is Maori, Briar and Akemi gave her a Maori first name, one Japanese middle name, and let Quinn and Skylar choose her other middle name. Since Quinn has become something of a history geek, he gave her a name honoring one of his favorite historical figures.

Linden recently gave birth to a baby boy. Like with Montgomery (who they now affectionately call Monty), they want this son’s first name to be a rare English name that comes from a surname and his middle name to have a Roman Emperor as a namesake.

Erec and Carlota were excited to welcome another child into their little family this year. Because of the enormous amount of questions they have gotten about Alyzabeth’s name, they didn’t want to go with another kre8ive spelling. Instead, they gave him a short, slightly cutesy first name that ends in -o. They also decided to give him a Spanish middle name that begins with M.

Erec and Carlota pronounce Alyzabeth’s name just like Elizabeth, so, because of all the misspellings, they are thinking they should officially change the spelling to Elizabeth. Say whether they should change her name her name or not, and I’ll go with whatever gets the most votes.

Peredur has a girlfriend who's parents, both history professors, gave her a name that appears on the History list of names on BtN. Her middle name is a very commonly used classic, and her last name is short.
