Amanda and Patrick were surprised but excited to learn that Amanda was pregnant. They've decided not to find out their baby's sex, so they'll need a boy name and a girl name. They'd like a first name that does not appear in the US 2014 top 1000, but they don't want it to be totally unheard-of or too hard to spell/pronounce. If the baby is a girl, her middle name should be floral. If it's a boy, his middle name should be related to water somehow. You choose if the baby's last name is Harper, Laurence, or hyphenated.

Jamie and Jordan are expecting a baby girl. Jamie hated growing up with a unisex name and doesn't want her daughter to have one. However, Jordan likes his unisex name and wants to use one on his daughter. They've decided to compromise by giving their daughter a clearly feminine name that has a unisex nickname. Her middle name is one syllable.

Laura has always known she wanted to be a mother, but she hasn't met the right man to have children with. Shortly before she turned 30 she decided to consider adoption. She's been matched with a two-year-old Guatemalan boy and is excited to bring him home. His foster parents named him Modesto, but Laura is worried that Modesto will be a difficult name to bear in the US. She's decided to pick a different Spanish name that works better in English as his first name and keep Modesto as his first middle name. His second middle name should honor either one of Laura's parents, Charles Vincent and Linda Mary, or one of her siblings, Joseph Michael and Beatrice Jane.

Huang and Jessica are expecting twins, a boy and a girl. The babies should have either an English first name and two Chinese middle names (you choose if the middle names are hyphenated or smushed together, ex. Hong-Jun or Hongjun) OR a Chinese first and middle name with an English nickname. For the English name or nickname, Huang and Jessica would like to avoid repeating initials in their family. The names the twins go by should not start with the same letter and neither one should start with H or J. The meanings of their Chinese names should make a pleasant phrase together (ex. Hongjun means "great ruler"). The Chinese names can start with any letter.
The babies' last name will be Chen.
