By the time Opaline is old enough to enter Hogwarts, each one of her siblings has graduated, though a family presence remains from her father - though she won't be able to take the Arithmancy elective until later on. He's beyond thrilled that she sorted into Ravenclaw, leaving the final count in his 'favor.' Isolde is seriously empty nesting, though, and encourages the grandkids to come over as often as possible. Rudyard and Ofelia have had a daughter, and Prosper and Charlotte are expecting one as well. Since graduation, Iolanthe has become a traveling journalist for the Daily Prophet. She seems to have no desire to settle down anytime soon. Everild, however, has a steady boyfriend, a halfblood and former Slytherin who's going through his Auror training. Hallam's passion for playing quidditch did not last as strongly as Prosper's - not enough to go pro. But he has started an apprenticeship with a broom maker.

Prosper and Charlotte want the same sort of name for their daughter as their son - a middle ground between common and unusual. Rudyard and Ofelia's daughter has an Italian first name and a Latin middle name. Everild's boyfriend has a first name of Scottish origin that also has English usage, his middle name begins with a J, and his surname is Scottish.

The Graves have had a daughter now, and managed to introduce them to much of the family on visit days. But their visits are far from frequent, and both are drifting apart from those they left behind in their former factions. The Crosses are somewhat saddened, but it is their way of life. Tamar and Luke continue their life together, but living a bit away has actually put Tamar on better terms with her family. She's expecting their first child, a son, now.

It's been a time for babies in the Barton-McGuinness family. Aiden and Lilac had boy/girl twins, just a few months apart from Riley and Dio's daughter. The cousins are already becoming fast friends.
