Lachlan and Remy just welcomed their first grandchildren! Twin girls Harlow and Kiera were just born to Bonnie and her husband, Nikolai. Bonnie met Nik at college during their freshman year, and they were dating by Christmas break. They got married about a month after their graduation. Bonnie earned a degree in nursing, while Nik majored in applied mathematics. Each of them had just settled into their jobs - Bonnie at a pediatric clinic and Nik as an actuary - when Bonnie found out that she was pregnant! Remy and Lachlan have already volunteered to help take care of the girls when Bonnie and Nik both return to work. Lachlan works from home now, so it would be very easy for him to take care of his granddaughters during the day. Seamus went to college for a year, but he decided to put off school for a while to move to a new city and freelance as a cartoonist and artist. His parents were nervous about his decision at first, but they were reassured when Seamus quickly got a job illustrating for a newspaper. He met his new girlfriend, Millie, through some mutual friends at his job. Finn got a scholarship to play soccer at his college, which keeps him very busy. He is thinking about joining his father's advertising firm after he graduates, if he doesn't get an offer from a pro soccer team. Thalia and Cedric attend the same college as Finn, and Thalia started dating one of Finn's teammates just a few months ago. She is majoring in art and music education, while her twin brother is studying biology. Adele, Jemma, Toby, and Mira are all still at home. Adele and Jemma are both very involved in their high school's theater group and student government. Toby just began to take cello lessons. Mira is trying to start a book club at school with some of her friends.
