JT and Sierra just celebrated their tenth anniversary and the birth of their fifth child, Adrian. The couple met on a blind date when they were both in college, which was arranged by their best friends who had just started dating. They dated long-distance as they finished their degrees, and JT frequently drove three hours to visit Sierra on the weekends. Their wedding took place a couple months before Sierra started her physical therapist graduate program. JT teaches biology at a high school, and Sierra works as a physical therapist at a nursing home. Patrick just started first grade and loves drawing and playing outside with his friends. Isabel is in kindergarten and is beginning to read really well. Miranda and Olivia like to follow their big sister around and want JT and Sierra to get them a puppy. Adrian was born premature and a few pounds smaller than his siblings, but he is healthy and adored by his older siblings.
