The Queendom of Lutera had only recently celebrated the announced pregnancy of their Crown Princess, the beautiful Princess Tess, when they were thrown into mourning with the death of Queen Lillian, Tess's aunt. As the heir to the throne, Tess suddenly found herself on a throne she had thought she'd have years longer to prepare for while still preparing for her first child. But Tess has spent her entire life being groomed for the throne, and with the support of her family and husband, she approached the throne with optimism.
It was only four months after her coronation that she gave birth. Princess Sophia, or Sophie as her family calls her, was born healthy and plump to immense celebration. She has her father's black curly hair and dark skin and her mother's hazel-green eyes, full lips, and long lashes. Her young parents are overjoyed and doting, and the queen cannot be persuaded to leave her even when in the council chambers--unless it is to her father or grandparents, or one of her bevy of aunts and uncles. The kingdom rejoiced at the security of the succession, and many prayers are said throughout the land for her continued health and heartiness.
