The first of Dan and Kim's brood to get married was Reagan, to a guy she met at the grocery store named Darius Howard. They got very chatty during that encounter, and it quickly turned into a relationship. Just six months later, Darius felt he should keep Reagan around forever, so he proposed over a candle-lit dinner. The only downside, to Dan and Kim at least, was that Darius already had a daughter named Rowan from his last marriage, who would've been born when Reagan was only seventeen. Dan didn't like that at all, but he softened when he saw what a good mother figure Reagan was turning out to be. As of Reagan and Darius' wedding, they've welcomed three more kids, Barrett Joel, Phoebe Saige, and Keegan Chad Howard. While Rowan is six, the others are four, three, and one, respectively.
Preston has been in a relationship with Becky Phillips since Preston’s first day at Florida State. The two of them had chosen the same major, biology, so they were in most of the same classes together. Preston and Becky eventually ended up having sex, and nine months later, Becky gave birth to a baby girl, Ashlynn Jane Lucas. She’s two now, and she’s the light of both their lives, especially Preston’s. He’s always spoiling her with pink outfits and matching bows, as well as toys. Also, Ashlynn has just become the big sister of another baby girl, Macie Kyndall Lucas. Ashlynn can’t wait until Macie gets old enough to start playing with her!
When Dallas’ fiancée, Mallory Gibbs, gave a definite, tearful yes to his marriage proposal, Dallas jumped right on the ball in telling everyone in his family. Everyone was extremely happy for him, despite the fact that Mallory is technically still a teenager at nineteen. Even bigger news for Dallas is that he and Mallory are expecting their first child, a baby boy they’re naming Taylor Kendrick Lucas. Mallory picked the name because she’s always heard Taylor on girls and wanted to have a male Taylor. The young couple has decided to wait until Taylor is at least three months old to have the wedding, to give Mallory time to nurse him.
